A clear account of how the current Chemlon frontend handles information today, and how this page will evolve when commerce services are connected.
Overview
Chemlon is currently a frontend-only storefront. Account authentication, live ordering, payment processing and customer-service submission are not yet connected.
Information We May Collect
The current storefront stores cart lines, saved-for-later items, wishlist selections and recently viewed product identifiers in your browser's local storage.
Information entered into the current contact and account forms is not transmitted to or retained by a Chemlon backend in this frontend phase.
How Information May Be Used
Local storefront data is used to preserve your bag, saved pieces and recently viewed products on the same browser. If commerce and account services are connected later, information may be used to provide those requested services and operate the store.
Orders & Payments
The current frontend does not process orders or payment details. Once live commerce is enabled, information required for checkout, payment and fulfilment may be handled by the connected commerce and payment providers under their applicable terms.
Service Providers
Future store functions may require providers for commerce, payments, delivery or customer service. This page will be updated to describe the providers actually connected before those services are launched.
Data Retention
Browser-local storefront data remains on the device until it is cleared through browser settings or replaced by later storefront activity. No fixed production retention periods are stated while the final service architecture is still being established.
Customer Choices
You can remove the current local storefront data by clearing site data in your browser. Doing so will remove the bag, wishlist, saved-for-later and recently viewed information held on that browser.
